The TOP50 have been selected amongst 3000+ companies, beneficiaries of the EIC Pilot Programme and SME Instrument.
The Top 50 European deep tech growth companies funded by the EIC were chosen after a selection process in several stages, based on a solid set of investment and business criteria. A Selection Committee of experienced investors from the key domains (Digital, Heath, Sustainability) voted for those 50 companies with the highest growth and financial potential. A balanced representation in the final selection of companies in terms of gender and geographical spread was ensured.
The EIC ScalingUp project aims to raise the visibility across Europe and internationally of those most promising 50 EIC deep tech companies which have the potential to achieve substantial growth, and to become world-scale companies, or to realize a big exit or IPO.
